AP Comparative Government
This semester the AP Government course focuses on Comparative Government and Politics. The course is divided into the following units:
Unit 1 (Introduction and Comparative Concepts)
Unit 2 (Country Studies: Great Britain, China, Nigeria, Iran, Russia and Mexico)
Unit 3 (International Governmental and Nongovernmental Organizations)
Unit 4 (Comparison with the US Government and Politics)

Week of March 30-April 14, 2009

Reading assignments: All handouts (please read AND annotate each handout) and chapter on China. The next country assignment will be Mexico. The last country assignment is Nigeria. Handouts will be given out before spring break. By Monday, April 13 the chapter on Mexico must have been read.
Try to get ahead in the text reading.

The reading from the text AND handouts (and the Economist) are VITAL.

Major AP Multiple Choice Exam is on Thursday, 2 April. Two of the questions on the exam are:
